Preschool (Mrs. Strand)

In Preschool 4 we have fun with language, developing phonological awarenss through games and songs. We also develop early math skills - counting, counting on, and numeral recognition. And we are always working on our social and emotional skills, such as talking about our feelings, respecting others, taking turns, and being responsible members of our little community.

This winter our curriculum has centered these lessons around the children's intersts, including dinosaurs, birds, and the Moon. We love our art and science projects that build on these topics. 

We round out our Preschool time with lots of play, lots of books, and lots of laughs.

Preschool is a joyful and blessed experience at Mater Dolorosa!
